Role Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and self-motivated System Administrator for a full-time, on-site position based in our Colombo office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining intemal IT infrastructure, ensuring operational efficiency and end user support across the organization.

This includes the management of LAN, Wi-Fi networks, access points, as well as Microsoft 365 environments, email configurations, printers, and general user support. The role also involves routine troubleshooting, hardware/software maintenance, and assisting internal teams in maintaining a secure and high-performing digital workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain LAN and Wi-Fi infrastructure, including access points and routers
• Provide end-user support for desktop systems, Microsoft 365, email configurations, and general IT queries
• Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, printer connectivity, and peripheral setup
• Administer basic Microsoft 365 services (user accounts, licenses, etc.)
• Maintain IT asset inventory and manage hardware/software deployment
• Ensure adherence to internal IT policies and security practices
• Support a small but dynamic technical team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar IT support or systems administration role
• Strong hands-on skills in LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting, hardware/software installation, and user support
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365 administration and email system configuration
• Familiarity with printer setup, basic network devices, and endpoint troubleshooting
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Certifications such as CompTIA At/Security+, Microsoft Certified: Moder Desktop Administrator, or similar are advantageous
• A diploma or degree in IT, Networking, or Computer Science is preferred
