The Opportunity: Associate Video Editor

We're seeking a talented and driven Associate Video Editor to bring our stories to life through compelling visuals. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in media, gaining hands-on experience in both long-form and short-form video production within a vibrant and fast-paced startup environment. You'll play a crucial role in shaping our digital narrative, transforming raw footage into engaging content that resonates with our audience.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about video, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a growing media brand.

Location: Sri Lanka (In-person or Remote with SLT Fibre connection required for remote roles) 

Hours: Part-time or Full-time 

Start Date: Immediate 

Compensation: Competitive 

What You'll Do

As our Associate Video Editor, you'll be instrumental in our content creation process, with responsibilities including:

• Editing long-form digital videos for our website and other platforms, ensuring a polished and professional final product.
• Crafting engaging short-form video reels and clips for social media, optimized for various platforms.
• Working closely with our content and social media teams to understand project requirements and deliver videos that align with our brand's vision.
• Managing and organizing video assets, ensuring efficient workflows.
• Assisting with basic motion graphics or text overlays as needed.
• Assisting with any other design tasks the team requires support with.

• Is fluent in English (mandatory) to collaborate effectively with our international team.
• Is available for a part-time or full-time role without other commitments.
• While previous professional experience is a plus, it's not strictly required. We value raw talent, a strong portfolio of personal projects, and a genuine passion for video editing.
