Remote Internship (Sri Lanka) – WordPress, Marketing Tech & eCommerce Setup

We’re Market Storey, a digital marketing and web agency based in New Zealand. We’re looking for a motivated intern in Sri Lanka to support our team with website development, eCommerce builds, and marketing technology setup.

No Need to Know Everything — Training Provided!

If you have a basic understanding of WordPress, HTML, or marketing platforms, we’ll help you grow. You’ll get real client work, mentorship, and guided tasks as part of your development.

Your Role Will Include:

• Building websites using WordPress, ACF, and custom themes
• Writing/editing PHP, HTML, and CSS
• Setting up hosting, SSL, domains, plugins
• Installing and configuring GA4, Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel
• Setting up Google Search Console and Merchant Center feeds
• Helping launch WooCommerce or Shopify online stores
• Setting up payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Afterpay)
• Assisting with HubSpot CRM, automated workflows & forms
• Creating and maintaining email marketing databases
• Ideal Skills (But We’ll Train You On These Too):
• WordPress development experience
• Basic knowledge of PHP, HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with email platforms like Mailchimp or HubSpot
• Understanding of Facebook Pixel & Google Analytics
• Shopify or WooCommerce experience is a bonus
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and communicate clearly
