COMPUTER TECHNICIAN

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install and configure hardware and software systems.
• Maintain and repair IT equipment as needed.
• Diagnose and resolve a variety of computer issues.
• Set up computer security measures.
• Regularly update software and operating systems to ensure all systems are current and secure.
• Configure computer networks,switches and routers to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Provide maintainance services for IT software and hardware systems.
• Manage IT stationary inventory and maintain the asset control system.
• Offer technical support on-site,remotely via phone or email.
• Perform regular data backups and ensure data recovery systems are in place.
• Provide training and guidance to users on new systems and software to ensure they are used effectively.
• Ensure all IT practices comply with organizational policies and industry regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Minimum of 1 or 2 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Should possess a valid light vehicles driving license.
