Job Summary

The Automobile Inventory Assistant is responsible for managing, updating and overseeing  the inventory of vehicles, vehicle parts and automotive warehouse. This role ensures accurate tracking, reporting, and optimization of automobile stock levels while coordinating with sales, procurement, and logistics teams to maintain efficient inventory flow.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

• Monitor and maintain accurate records of automobile inventory (new, used, and demo vehicles).
• Conduct regular physical stock audits to verify system data and prevent discrepancies.
• Track vehicle movements (arrivals, transfers, sales, and deliveries) using inventory management software.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for inventory control.

Coordination & Reporting:

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
• Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
• Liaise with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely vehicle arrivals and dispatches.
• Update and maintain the dealership management system (DMS) with accurate vehicle details (VIN, specs, pricing, etc.).
   

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: CGTI or Automobile Technical diploma or qualification, Automotive Management, or related field.
• Experience: 1+ years in inventory management, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Trainees: Also encourage to apply with good automobile qualifications
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Excel.
• Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
