We are seeking a talented Trainee Systems Engineer with experience in CentOS, Ubuntu, LAMP stack, Postfix, DNS, Git, shell scripting, MS365, Azure and Backup. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to streamline our development and deployment processes by ensuring that our infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure. As a Trainee Systems Engineer, you will work closely with our development, QA, and operations teams to ensure the successful deployment of software releases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain our Linux infrastructure in the cloud (Azure, CPanel)
• Manage Postfix based Email relay systems
• Manage DNS servers
• Monitor and analyze system performance to identify issues and ensure high availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and software
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation of tasks and processes. C++ / Shell /PHP development skills will have added advantage
• Manage backups and disaster recovery processes
• Implement security best practices for the infrastructure and software
• Basic MySQL/MariaDB database management skills

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or RCSE or equivalent qualification
• At least 6 months of experience as inter in a Systems Admin role
• Experience with CentOS, Ubuntu, LAMP stack, Postfix, DNS, Git, and scripting languages (Bash, PHIP)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, GoDaddy
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery processes
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
