The Role: The IT Lecturer - Career Facilitator is a dual role that combines teaching responsibilities with student counselling and marketing activities. This role involves delivering lectures relating to Information Technology (IT) while promoting UNISTEM's academic programs. Close collaboration with both academic and marketing teams is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Teaching & Curriculum Development:

  • Prepare and deliver lectures and tutorials related to BTEC HND in Computing.
  • Develop curriculum materials, including lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
  • Assess and grade assignments, exams, and projects.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students regarding their academic performance.

2. Career Facilitation & Student Counselling:

  • Helping students select appropriate courses and providing information on potential career paths
  • Respond to student inquiries and follow up to convert inquiries into enrollments.
  • Participate in marketing and promotional activities to support student recruitment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with employers to create job and internship opportunities for students.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering from a university, with First Class or Second-Class Upper Honors.
  • Previous experience in lecturing and/or marketing in a private university is advantageous.
  • A strong aptitude for marketing, with excellent communication, interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and support students in both academic and career development.
