Position Summary

A Data Engineer is a data professional who leverages their expertise in data engineering and programming to build systems that collect, manage, and transform raw data into actionable insights for business analysts. We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you willi utilize various methods to convert raw data into effective data systems, including creating algorithms and conducting statistical analyses. Your efforts will focus on optimizing data systems to align with business goals.

To succeed in this position, you should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to integrate data from diverse sources. Familiarity with multiple programming languages and knowledge of machine learning techniques are also essential.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop analytical tools and programs to facilitate data analysis and collaborate with data scientists and architects on various projects to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer, preferably with a focus on Talend and Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehousing concepts and architecture, particularly in Snowflake.
  • Prior experience in a data engineering role or a similar position.
  • Technical expertise in data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, along with experience in database design and data modeling.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Data engineering certification (e.g., IBM Certified Data Engineer) is a plus.
  • Experience with other ETL tools or cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and data science workflows.
