Associate Technical Lead / Senior Software Engineer - ReactJS Full-time

Your role:

  • Develop and contribute to architectural plans for frontend applications based on project requirements
  • Design, construct, and maintain a robust, reusable, and dependable codebase
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold coding standards
  • Ensure optimal user experience across all applications
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers
  • Conduct Research and Development initiatives on frontend strategies
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and fellow developers, to deliver software solutions aligned with business goals
  • Become an ambassador of Villvay’s values when representing the company to its stakeholders

Required experience:

  • Proficient in React.js with 3 - 5 years of experience
  • Strong expertise with React Hooks - including developing custom hooks
  • The ability to manage synchronous and asynchronous state effectively
  • Experience working with Next.js and TypeScript for at least 1 year
  • Adherence to best practices in development, including the use of ESLint, Prettier, etc.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and methods to enhance site performance
  • Familiarity with headless architecture concepts
  • Proficiency in Unit and End-to-End Testing methodologies
  • Strong command of Git version control system
  • Independent problem-solving abilities
  • Capacity to stay abreast of evolving frontend development trends for both web and mobile platforms
  • Added advantages:
  • Familiarity with the App Router in Next.js
  • Knowledge of React Server Components and Component Streaming
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS, Monorepo Management tools (e.g., Turborepo, Lerna), Storybook, and TanStack/React Query
  • Prior usage of Headless Content Management Systems such as Sanity and Strapi
