Java Application Developer Full-time

We are expanding our team and looking for a talented and experienced Java Application Developer to join us at our office! If you’re passionate about backend development and have a strong foundation in Java and PHP, we want to hear from you!

Location: Homagama, Colombo (On-site)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate
  • Work with MySQL databases to design efficient queries and ensure smooth data management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application performance issues
  • Ensure adherence to coding best practices and security guidelines

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Java and PHP (mandatory)
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks
  • Expertise in MySQL databases, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance
  • Experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus

Important:

This is a full-time, on-site position. Candidates must be willing to work from our office in Colombo. Remote or online work is not available for this role.
