Senior Business Intelligence (Consultant/Specialist)

MAKEEN Energy Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. is a leading global LP Gas-filling equipment manufacturing organization dedicated to delivering top-quality products while maintaining a strong commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. We are currently seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence professional with a passion for turning data into actionable insights. You'll work closely with stakeholders to design and implement Bl solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather BI requirements and design solutions.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Connect BI tools to data sources and APis for data extraction.
  • Assist in configuring and managing data® gateways and Power BI Service.
  • Prepare, analyze, and visualize data; create reports.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and security in Bl projects.
  • Provide project updates and maintain docu-mentation.
  • Build and maintain Bl dashboards and reports.
  • Offer technical support and manage tickets.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Professional certifications like Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) are valued.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Bi development with a focus on Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Power BI tools, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX.
  • Experience with data gateways, Power BI Service, and ETL processes (preferably MuleSoft).
  • Strong SQL and relational database skills (SQL Server; Oracle; PostGRE).
  • Familiarity with ticket management systems.
