About The Role
We are looking for an energetic and strategic Assistant Manager – Talent Development to join our dynamic HR team. This role plays a key part in designing, implementing, and managing performance management and talent development initiatives that drive employee engagement, capability growth, and organizational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the performance management cycle, including goal setting, mid-year and annual appraisals, and performance calibration.
- Develop and implement talent development frameworks aligned with business objectives and future capability needs.
- Drive the learning and development (L&D) agenda by identifying training needs, designing programs, and evaluating effectiveness.
- Partner with department heads to ensure performance and development plans are aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee the creation and execution of succession planning and career development initiatives.
- Support implementation of competency frameworks and employee engagement programs.
- Leverage data and analytics to measure talent development effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
- Manage relationships with external training providers and consultants.
- Ensure all performance and talent processes align with HR policies and best practices in the FMCG sector.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in Performance Management and Talent Development within a corporate environment.
- Prior experience in the FMCG industry is essential.
- Strong understanding of performance appraisal systems, goal setting, and competency frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in HR analytics and reporting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
