About The Role

We are looking for an energetic and strategic Assistant Manager – Talent Development to join our dynamic HR team. This role plays a key part in designing, implementing, and managing performance management and talent development initiatives that drive employee engagement, capability growth, and organizational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage the performance management cycle, including goal setting, mid-year and annual appraisals, and performance calibration.
  2. Develop and implement talent development frameworks aligned with business objectives and future capability needs.
  3. Drive the learning and development (L&D) agenda by identifying training needs, designing programs, and evaluating effectiveness.
  4. Partner with department heads to ensure performance and development plans are aligned with organizational goals.
  5. Oversee the creation and execution of succession planning and career development initiatives.
  6. Support implementation of competency frameworks and employee engagement programs.
  7. Leverage data and analytics to measure talent development effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
  8. Manage relationships with external training providers and consultants.
  9. Ensure all performance and talent processes align with HR policies and best practices in the FMCG sector.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  2. 3–5 years of proven experience in Performance Management and Talent Development within a corporate environment.
  3. Prior experience in the FMCG industry is essential.
  4. Strong understanding of performance appraisal systems, goal setting, and competency frameworks.
  5. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
  6. Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in HR analytics and reporting.
  7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
